Arithmetic follows the terms you enter. Enforceability, lawful deductions and employer payment obligations depend on the contract and applicable employment law. A waiver is excluded only when it also waives payment.

How this estimate works

Should I use basic salary, gross salary or CTC?

Use the salary basis and divisor specified by the applicable employment terms and law. CTC is not automatically the recovery base. This tool labels the basis you choose and does not decide whether a recovery is legally enforceable.

Can I calculate employer payment in lieu too?

Yes. Choose employer payout instead of employee recovery. The same shortfall arithmetic is shown with the payment direction clearly labelled; legal entitlement and any waiver still need confirmation.

Does this include a full and final settlement?

No. It estimates notice pay only, before tax. Unpaid salary, leave encashment, gratuity, loans and other settlement items must be calculated separately.
