Split shifts are the norm, not the exception
A trainer who works 06:00–10:00 and 17:00–21:00 is not doing overtime, and treating that as one long day produces nonsense. Attendance has to understand two separate duty windows on the same date.
- Two shifts per employee, each with its own start and end time
- A separate salary configurable against each shift
- Punches bucketed to the right shift automatically
- Paid leave applied per shift and capped at the month's working days
