Cloud

Cloud-based biometric attendance system

Almost every attendance failure we are called about traces to the same sentence: it was installed on one computer, and that computer is gone. Cloud is not a feature here — it is the difference between a system that survives a staff change and one that does not.

A cloud-based attendance system stores attendance and biometric templates on managed infrastructure rather than on a PC in your office, and is used through a browser. The practical consequences are that a failed hard disk costs you nothing, any authorised person can read attendance from anywhere, multiple branches report into one register, and there is no software to install, back up or upgrade. AionHRMS connects to your existing eSSL, ZKTeco or Realtime terminal and takes the attendance from there.

Nothing

to install, back up, patch or licence per PC

Any browser

read attendance from the office, home or a phone

Every branch

one register across all locations, with local admins

Buffered

terminals keep working and upload when the link returns

What actually goes wrong with desktop attendance software

This is not a hypothetical list. It is the recurring pattern behind organisations replacing a system that technically worked.

  • The PC is replaced or the disk fails, taking attendance history and enrolled templates with it
  • The one person who knew the software leaves
  • The office moves and nobody remembers the licence key
  • A second branch opens and needs a second, unconnected installation
  • Attendance can only be read by physically sitting at that machine

What the terminal does when the internet is down

A common and fair objection to cloud attendance. The answer is that the terminal is not dependent on the connection to do its job.

  • Verification happens on the device, locally, with no network involved
  • Punches are buffered in the terminal's own memory during an outage
  • The backlog uploads automatically when connectivity returns
  • Employees notice nothing and no attendance is lost

Multi-branch is where cloud pays for itself

One site can just about live with a desktop tool. Two cannot, because somebody has to consolidate two exports every month and explain why the branches count late marks differently.

  • One employee list, one set of rules, every location
  • Staff moving between branches enrolled once
  • Branch administrators scoped to their own site; head office sees everything
  • Mixed hardware brands across sites is expected, not a problem

Frequently asked questions

Where is our data stored?
On infrastructure in India. Access within our team is limited to the people who operate and support the service, and we do not use employee attendance data for anything other than running it for you.
What if we lose internet at the office?
Nothing is lost. The terminal verifies staff locally and buffers punches, then uploads them when the connection returns.
Can we export our data if we leave?
Yes, and you should ask every vendor this before signing. Attendance is exportable while your account is active and on request when ending a subscription.
Do we need a static IP or a VPN?
No. The terminal makes an outbound connection to our server; nothing needs to be reachable from the internet at your end.

Put your existing biometric machines on the cloud

Keep the hardware. Add cloud enrollment, multi-device sync and attendance your HR team can actually read.
