Attendance software for construction companies and sites

A construction site's workforce changes every week, sits under a contractor rather than on your payroll, and works in conditions that destroy fingerprints. Attendance here is not an HR formality — it is the number the contractor invoices against.

Construction attendance software must handle churn, contractors and hostile conditions. Workers arrive through one or two gates, rotate between sites, and are frequently paid per shift by a labour contractor rather than directly. AionHRMS enrols and revokes workers from the browser in seconds, keeps a per-person daily record per site, and computes shift-based wages — giving you something defensible to hold a contractor invoice against.

Churn is the design constraint

If enrolling a new worker means walking to the gate and typing on a keypad, it will not happen reliably, and the site reverts to a register within a month. The only version of this that survives is one where a supervisor can add and remove people from a phone or laptop.

  • Enrol and revoke from the browser the same day
  • Workers moving between sites enrolled once, pushed to the gates they need
  • RFID cards for workers whose fingerprints will not read
  • Access withdrawn automatically when an assignment ends

The contractor conversation, settled with data

A contractor invoices for a headcount; the site believes fewer people came. Without a per-person daily record that argument is won by whoever is more persistent. With one, it is arithmetic.

  • Per-person, per-day presence across every gate on the site
  • Every punch keeps its timestamp, terminal and verification method
  • Contract workers managed alongside staff without entering your payroll list
  • Overtime captured as distinct events rather than inferred

Frequently asked questions

Will a biometric terminal survive a site environment?
That is a hardware question rather than a software one — talk to your dealer about an IP-rated or weather-shielded unit. AionHRMS works with whichever supported terminal you install.
Can each site have its own supervisor login?
Yes. Site administrators see only their own site; the head office sees every site in one register.
What about workers with no smartphone or ID?
Nothing about the system requires a worker to own a phone. Enrolment is a fingerprint, face or card at the terminal, and the record is created by your supervisor.
